Custom Band Merch, T-Shirts, Caps and More πŸ”ŠπŸ”Š

In the era of music streaming, having custom band merch is a must for every band that plays locally or on tour.

Here is our guide to making the most from your band merch and how to increase your margins. Selling merch is a means of earning some extra money at shows and gives the fans an opportunity to buy a tangible product to remember the show with! This is another way to build a closer relationship with your fans.

Creating your band merch - the Step-by-step process for creating your order.

Before we start printing there are a number of steps required to get your merch underway.

STEP 1: DESIGN YOUR LOGO/ARTWORK WITH YOUR ORDER VOLUME IN MIND.

There is little point to designing amazing full colour artwork if you are only able to order a small run of shirts. Before starting to think about your design we suggest having a good look at our print guides.

STEP 2: PICK THE RIGHT GARMENTS.

One of the most important steps is picking the right shirt for you. The right garment or accessory will depend on your customer base or demographic, so you want to choose well.

One of most popular shirts for a younger demographic – 35 and younger are the traditional old-school brands such as Gildan 5000 or American Apparel 1301. These brands are made out of carded cotton which is a bit rougher than an ultra soft AS Colour blank. These have the advantage of sharper pricing and have a more standardised fit that’s a bit wider and boxier.

Hands down our best selling style is the AS Colour Staple and Maple tees. These are awesome all rounders, with wide appeal. 180gsm ringspun knit will make your print pop and are good for all year around and available in over 70+ colours.

These are just a few of the styles we have available and it’s super important to know your customer and understand their wants and needs to source correct tee for you.

STEP 3: FINALISE THE NUMBER OF GARMENTS YOU WOULD LIKE TO PRODUCE.

Once you have your mock up design and have chosen your shirt style, the next step is work out how many of each size to order and request a quote. We do have small minimums depending on how many colours in your design, but 50 is a good start. Once you have your order ready send us a quote request via www.esponline.co.nz/quote
